If you are having trouble with a control surface in Logic Pro, then delete the .cs file from the preferences folder. See the Logic Pro User Manual for details on how to do this. You may wish to export your custom key command as a preset before performing this step. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu. You only need to delete the Control Surface (.cs) file. Here's the instructions to delete Logic's Preferences and Control Surface file. Make sure the sustain pedal is plugged into the keyboard then plug the Yamaha's USB connector back into the same USB port. With the computer on, unplug the Keyboard's USB connection and the Mac's USB port.
